Wash and blow-dry the hair with a paddle brush to get it fairly straight. Allow the wave to remain and add a shine serum to reduce frizz if your hair is naturally wavy. Once hair is completely dried out gather it into a high ponytail with an elastic band, so that the ponytail rests on either side of your head. Wrap a one-inch section of hair around the elastic to disguise it. Terminate the seem with hairspray at the base of the ponytail to add shine. A headband would be a nice add up to this upstyle..
